LOU FEDERICI

  Bio
A principal of the Hamden Law firm of Parrett, Porto, Parese and Colwell

Has lived  in Guilford for 17 years

Lou and his wife, Carrie, have three children, Christopher, Robert and Allison.





















  Accomplishments Current member of the Guilford Board of Finance

Past Member of the Zoning Board of Appeals where for two years served as chairman.

An active as a member of the board of New Haven Home Recovery and was a past Chairman of its Board of Directors.

Committee member of Guilford Boy Scout Troop 474, serving as a Troop/ First Church Liaison.

A member of the Guilford First Congregational Church H. R. Committee.

   Supported acquiring the Goss Property for Guilford

Supported a plan which has significantly reduced the deficit in the medical benefits account, so that is now virtually balanced











  Statement "I will encourage close cooperation with the Board of Ed and Board of Selectmen while maintaining objectivity and scrutiny of proposals that affect the fiscal health of the town.

I will continue to be responsive to the citizens of Guilford.  My goals for the Board of Finance will be to continue to strive for appropriate financial support for educational excellence; continue efforts to maintain our existing school facilities and support for the plan to replace the High School. Support the  on-going review of the best option for Adams M.S.

Support Public Safety, including the plan to fully staff the Fire Department while utilizing all available funding, in an effort to minimize the impact of Guilford  tax payers. Develop a cost effective plan to address the capital needs of public works."
